Last night, I was soooo emotional.

I never imagined that PBA would be this big to me. Last night was the second most emotional nights of my life. First was when I passed the board exams. Really! I never cried so much because of happiness until that two nights. The reaction from me and from my family was epic. I hope that was videotaped. Hahaha.

I have been waiting for BMEG (former Purefoods team) to come to the Finals. Yeah, we’ve been waiting for so long but support didn’t drop down even a little. The more struggle the team faced, the greater the trust I give them. Thinking and believing that this team will win in right time and in right chances because they truly deserve it. And last night was the time we’ve all been waiting.

Every quarter was crucial. It was, indeed, a roller-coaster ride. Palms together, head bowed down, I’ve been praying hard that the team will outrun TNT. I may sound silly but for fanatics like me, it’s like a vow. During the last quarter, my team had the tiniest chance of winning the game. But hopes were high, I never turned my back on them even I knew that in the next minutes, we’ll be kissing defeat. Clock continuously ticked off and seconds was on the clock, the opponents were still points ahead. I had no enough courage to hold back my tears that time. So, I was crying foolishly and still praying for a win even it means impossible. But miracle of all miracles, the Unstoppa-BOWLES was fouled and had the chance to tie down the game with 1.2 seconds on the clock. I was like, “Please do it right. You can do that.” but at the back of my mind, I already accepted defeat. In times like that, most players would really miss the free throw shots because of too much emotions and pressure. But Bowles is a monster and he tied the scores, extending the ball game and the fans’ dithers. My tears of defeat swiftly became tears of ecstasy while I was jumping in joy stupidly. Hahaha. Again, I hope that was videotaped. Hahaha. Happiness was at its peak and drawing out to its limit because James Yap won the MVP Finals. He mentioned and thanked Yapsters Club. I’m a proud member, head up! I’m also happy that Kuya PJSimon was back on his game with double digits despite the injury. What a warrior. What a heart. And to Bowles, you officially had the share of my love for you last night. You did great things. BMEGPLANET is really proud to have you this conference. Hoping to see you play in NBA like you always dream. And to the rest of the players, it isn’t a one-man game and without each of you, it’s never possible to win. Cheers to them!

And to the TNT Planet, hats off to you, guys! You gave us one hell of a game to remember. You did great. :)

Everything was worth it - tears, voice, efforts and prayers. Everything was like a dream to us. The good thing is, even after a sleep, still, it’s happening :))

Natulog lang ako buong araw, literally. Nagising lang ako nung hapunan na. Off ko kasi ngayon at ang lamig ng panahon. At tatlong araw ding puyat sa sunod-sunod na morning duty. Ayun!

Nakakamiss magblog. Yung magkwento. Eh kaso wala namang pwedeng ikwento na maganda nung mga nakaraang araw. Minsan talaga, mararamdaman mo yung feeling na “Okay, just go with the routine.”

Tapos bigla na lang nasa Finals na yung favorite team ko sa PBA. Parang bigla-biglang my life is all about basketball na ulit. Ang saya lang. Exciting na ulit ang life. For some people, it would be a shallow thing, petty reason and exaggerated feeling. Of course, hindi naman yun maiitindihan ng iba kung hindi nila pinagdadaanan yung feeling na katulad ng akin. Ah basta. Masaya at balik PBA fan na ulit ako. Nakikita ko lang yung mga favorite players ko, buo na araw ko. Sana maipanalo nila ang season ngayon. Wala na akong mahihiling pa sa ngayon. Ay, meron pala, Yung makapanood ng live play. Err! Pero imposible pa yun sa ngayon. Hahay.
